Enics Eesti AS Won Quality Award in Estonian
Enics Eesti AS, the Estonian Business Unit of Enics, has received Estonian quality award on 7 September, 2010 from the Estonian Association for Quality (EAQ).
Press Release, 15 September 2010 – Enics Eesti AS, the Estonian Business Unit of Enics, one of the world’s leading Electronics Manufacturing Services providers in industrial and medical electronics, has received Estonian quality award on 7 September, 2010 from the Estonian Association for Quality (EAQ). Enics’s sustained target is to continuously improve quality and preserve environment in all it’s locations around Europe and Asia.
Enics Eesti AS won the grand award in large enterprise category in Estonian Quality Award 2010 contest. On 7 September, 2010 on the gala ceremony Mr. Andrus Ansip, the Prime Minister of Estonia and Ms. Tiia Tammaru, Chairman of Estonian Association for Quality handed over the prize and recognitions to organisations that had achieved good results in the field of enterprise management.
Enics Eesti AS was awarded as the plant had implemented integrated management system, which is certified according to the standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001. Additionally Enics Eesti AS is fulfilling the requirements of ISO/TS 16949, ISO 13485 & IRIS.
“We decided to join the competition to confirm that our leadership methods are on good level, to learn where we excel and where we still need improvement from external point of view. The site visit turned to be good learning experience and improvement proposals will be an input to our annual planning.” states Kalle Kuusik, General Manager, Enics Eesti AS.
