In the last week of September, Enics, one of the world’s leading providers of Electronics Manufacturing Services, inaugurated its 2nd manufacturing plant in Suzhou, China. Suzhou is one of the fastest growing areas in China in means of investments.
In the opening words, Mr. Kaur Andresson, General Manager of Enics Beijing and Suzhou said „The new plant is the largest in Enics network; however the main value comes from the proximity to our key customers. This enables us to be more flexible, more competitive and opens a door to provide new services to our existing and potential customers“.
On the same day, after the official Inauguration of Enics Suzhou, the Enics Asian Partner Day 2012 brought together almost 200 top players in the EMS world; the participants were from 65 different companies.
The main focus on the event was the Quality of:for Life. The Chief Economist from China State Information Centre, Mr. Fan Jianping, shared how they see the development of China for the coming years. He showed interesting figures and growth trends. The main trend is that the growth is kept in more moderate level (below 10 %) level to avoid the overheating of the economy .Dale Ford, the head of Electronics & Semiconductor Research at IHS gave an overview about Electronics Value Chain and semiconductors.
The official part ended with awarding best suppliers if 2012. The award of Enics Asian Partner of the Year 2012 in PwB Manufacturing went to Kinwong Electronic. In addition, Shenzhen Honeycomb System was honored as the best Mechanics Manufacturer in 2012 and Serial Microelectronics as the best Distributor.
